Support Worker (Elgin Service) – Male Required

Based in Elgin, this role is with Community Integrated Care, a multi-award-winning charity investing all profits back into the people we support, our workforce, and our local communities. About the Role
This is a 25-hour per week post working across two locations:
- Primary Focus: Supporting one gentleman in his own home for the majority of his hours.
- Secondary Focus: Supporting 17 individuals across Elgin service, which includes:
- 12 individuals in bedsits
- 2 individuals in a 3-bedroom bungalow
- The support team includes people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and physical disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and pursue individualised goals with the people you support.
- Work collaboratively to overcome barriers and help them live their best lives.
- Build trust, safety, and confidence—helping them feel secure while achieving their dreams.
- Engage in fun, meaningful activities such as:
- Karaoke, baking, BBQs and garden parties
- Discos, day trips, and holidays
- Respond to and support during times of anxiety, challenging behaviours, or trauma.
- Represent a male support worker (a genuine occupational requirement under the Equality Act 2010).

Key Working Patterns
Shift patterns include:
- 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM
- 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Staff need to be flexible to cover all shifts listed.
