I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who You’ll Be Supporting
Hi! I am a young man with autism and moderate learning difficulties, I live alone in a purposely built home. I like routine and predictability. I find it very challenging when I cannot go out and do things that I enjoy. I like to go out in my vehicle daily on a pre-planned route, which my support workers are required to drive. I love music, BBC 1, BBC 2 radio and colouring activities, going out in my van to activities. My family is very important to me in my life and is involved in my support and wellbeing. My favourite food is pasta. My support workers need to be dedicated, resilient, creative, flexible and think outside of the box to enable me to reach my full potential. I have been institutionalised most of my life and now with the support of SeeAbility's amazing Support Workers most of my days are active and enjoyable.
You’ll be making a real impact with a person who have:
- Behaviours of concern
- Autism and learning disabilities
- Positive Behaviour Support
