Job Title: Senior Radiographer / Mammographer

Location: Exeter, Devon

Contract Type: Permanent (Full Time – 36 hours per week)

Salary: Up to £41,000 per annum

Role Overview

We are recruiting for an experienced Mammographer to join a modern Breast Screening service in Exeter. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality breast screening and assessment services while contributing to the early detection and diagnosis of breast disease.

Key Requirements

  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography
  • HCPC Registered Radiographer
  • Recognised Postgraduate Certificate in Mammography
  • Experience working within a breast screening and/or assessment environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality screening and assessment mammography examinations
  • Deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining the highest clinical standards
  • Work collaboratively with Radiologists, Breast Clinicians and Radiography colleagues
  • Support early diagnosis through accurate imaging and patient assessment
  • Assist with mentoring and supporting Assistant Practitioners where appropriate
  • Contribute to service development and continuous quality improvement
