Management Accountant
Commercially Focused Management Accountant
The business continues to expand, and we are seeking a Management Accountant to strengthen financial control, improve project visibility, and support operational decision-making across multiple entities and projects in the UK and Europe.

Well-established, privately owned, and growing Engineering Group with a strong culture, based near Mansfield and expanding internationally.
About the Role
Newly created position supporting operations in Europe as well as existing contracts in the UK.

You will play a key role in delivering:
- Accurate financial reporting
- Project accounting
- Commercial analysis across the business
This position will work closely with:
- Operational teams
- Project managers
- Procurement
- Senior leadership
Responsibilities:
- Ensure strong financial governance
- Maintain robust Work in Progress (WIP) management
- Facilitate effective revenue recognition
You will thrive in a fast-paced engineering environment, comfortable managing financial complexities across:
- Long-term projects
- Manufacturing operations
- Multi-site activities in both the UK and Europe

Profile & Qualifications
- Qualified (ACA, CIMA, or ACCA)
- Preferred experience or interest in:
- Contract/Project accounting
- Goods in/out valuation
- VAT and Excise
- Cost allocation
- Financial analysis
Job Offer
- Salary: £45,000–£50,000 (dependent on experience)
