Management Accountant (12-Month FTC)
We’re looking for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a 12-month maternity cover, with the potential to extend for longer due to the scope of the role and to ensure a full handover. This is a brilliant opportunity for a full or part-qualified ACCA/CIMA accountant who wants to broaden their experience in a hands-on, supportive environment. This full-time role will give broad exposure across management accounting in a professional services setting and will also offer study support for the successful candidate.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, timely financial information, including:
- Monthly management accounts support
- Preparing KPI reports & monthly performance packs
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Quarterly VAT returns (VAT experience highly useful)
- ONS/statutory submissions
- Payroll journals and liaison with People & Culture
- Budgeting & reforecast support
- Ad-hoc analysis and Excel-based reporting

You’ll gain exposure across management accounting in the legal sector, take ownership of varied processes, and be part of a friendly, supportive team where you can grow.
What we’re looking for
- At least ACCA or CIMA part-qualified and actively studying
- Experience in an accounting role
- Strong reconciliation skills
- Confidence working heavily in Excel
- Experience working in professional services will be advantageous but is not essential
