Management Accountant

Senior Manager – Finance (Management Accounting/Forecasting & Business Partnering)

Media | £50,000 – £60,000 | Central London (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

Goodman Masson are exclusively partnering with a global, PE-backed Media business scaling rapidly across the UK and internationally. Now hiring for a commercially minded, senior finance professional to drive growth and transform financial reporting.


About the Role

This highly visible role is perfect for someone who goes beyond "just the numbers" and deeply understands the business. You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, analysing financial insights, forecasting performance, and supporting strategic investment decisions.

As a commercial FP&A partner, you will oversee budgeting, P&L management, forecasting, and internal financial reporting—helping shape the business’s profitable future. The company is invested in transformative growth, making this an ideal opportunity to lead finance-related projects and improvements.

Core Responsibilities

  • Budgeting, forecasting & financial planning
    • Own the budgeting, forecasting, and reforecasting lifecycle for strategic alignment
  • Profit & Loss (P&L) management
    • Manage the full P&L for 3 key business units, ensuring financial discipline
  • Financial reporting
    • Produce high-quality management accounts for accurate decision-making
  • Financial modelling & analysis
    • Build and maintain dynamic financial models for scenario planning and performance optimisation
  • Strategic partnering
    • Work closely with non-finance departments, translating complex financial insights into actionable advice
    • Support ad-hoc commercial projects, performance reviews, and budget management
  • Finance transformation
    • Contribute to improvement initiatives, enhancing process efficiency

What We Look For

  • Qualified or Professional Qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) or equivalent commercial accountancy experience
  • Commercially driven mindset – ensuring financial strategies align with business growth goals
  • Advanced Excel proficiency with strong financial modelling expertise
  • Exceptional communication skills to engage with non-finance teams & build strong cross-functional relationships
