£40,000 - £45,000 | Immediate Start | Manufacturing | Potential to Go Permanent | Stourbridge
A well-established SME manufacturing business is looking to appoint a Management Accountant on an initial 6-month contract to support the finance team through a busy period.
Working closely with the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in helping bring reporting back up to date following a recent departure within the team. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety and the opportunity to make an immediate impact, with the potential for the position to become permanent.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts
- Posting journals and month-end adjustments
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Working through a backlog of financial reporting and finance projects
- Assisting with process improvements where appropriate
- Providing general accounting support to a small, collaborative finance team

About You
We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a Management Accountant or similar role
- Manufacturing sector experience (essential)
- Strong month-end accounting experience, including journals and reconciliations
- The ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Either:
- Part/Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA), or
- Qualified by experience (QBE)
