Management Accountant

Location: London
Salary: Up to £68,000 + Bonus

This is a senior Management Accountant opportunity with a successful international organisation experiencing continued growth. The role combines financial reporting, business partnering, commercial analysis, team leadership, and strategic finance support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and delivery of monthly management accounts.
  • Produce and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare board-level reporting and performance analysis.
  • Business partner with operational teams and senior stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Review accounting work and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Authorise payments and oversee key financial transactions.
  • Manage and review client invoicing processes.
  • Provide analysis on profitability, costs, and business performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including systems and process enhancements.
  • Support strategic finance projects and wider business initiatives.
  • Deliver ad hoc analysis to support commercial decision-making.

Candidate Profile

  • ACA qualified (or equivalent), ideally with post-qualified industry experience.
  • Previous experience as a Management Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Strong ERP systems knowledge, ideally Sage X3.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Ability to combine technical accounting expertise with commercial insight.
