Management Accountant

As a Management Accountant, you help the business understand how it is performing. You turn numbers into clear insight and support managers to make informed decisions. You work closely with Operations, Finance and Commercial teams to improve performance, control costs and support future planning. You play a key role in linking financial information with what is really happening on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely weekly and monthly management accounts and KPI reporting.
  • Prepare and develop weekly Profit & Loss reporting and management information.
  • Deliver weekly, daily material, and labour variance analysis and reporting.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure financial accuracy.
  • Maintain and develop standard costing processes and systems.
  • Partner with operations teams across multiple sites, providing financial insight and support.

About You

  • CIMA or ACCA qualified.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally food manufacturing.
  • Experience producing management accounts and delivering reporting to tight deadlines.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of manufacturing operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to analyse complex data and provide meaningful business insights.
  • Full UK driving licence.
