Management Accountant
Location: Milton Keynes – Hybrid (3-day hybrid working pattern, requiring reasonable commuting distance from the office)
About the Role
We’re seeking a Management Accountant to join our Finance team at Ingram Micro UK. Suitable candidates may be:
- Studying towards (or already holding) CIMA or ACCA qualifications
- Part-qualified with recognised experience
- Qualified by experience in financial assessment
This role provides end-to-end ownership across month-end processes, cost control, and margin accounting, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting and delivering clear performance visibility to the business.
We are seeking an adaptable professional comfortable in an evolving environment, capable of contributing as we grow and expand our platforms. This includes working across:
- Operating expenses (Opex)
- Customer rebate programmes (VPAs – Value Protection Agreements)
- Multi-period deal accounting
You’ll collaborate closely with Finance & Sales teams, providing actionable financial insights to drive better decision-making.
Responsibilities
Financial Ownership & Reporting:
- Prepare and oversee monthly management accounts (P&L & balance sheet)
- Manage Opex reporting, including accruals, prepayments, and variance analysis
- Work with budget holders to monitor, control, and challenge cost centre spend
Specialist Account Roles:
- Manage customer rebate accounting (VPA), covering tracking, accruals, and forecasting
- Lead multi-period deal accounting, ensuring accurate revenue and margin recognition
- Prepare month-end journals and complete balance sheet reconciliations

Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Part-qualified or exempt from a professional qualification – CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in management accounting or hands-on knowledge of month-end processes
- Fluency in cost control methodologies and working within Opex-focused environments
Technical & Analytical Skills:
- In-depth analytical abilities to interpret financial data and identify trends
- Attention to detail tailored to financial accuracy and compliance

- Self-managerial discipline to effectively prioritise and regulate workloads
- Excellential stakeholder communication – engaging clearly with teams in Finance, Sales, and broader operations
