As a Management Accountant in the leisure industry, you will be joining a growing business in the area and support the Finance Manager from their office in Ilkeston.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is currently an Assistant Accountant or an Accounts Assistant (who has experience in supporting with Management Accounts) and looking for a step up as a Management Accountant.

This is a permanent opportunity in Ilkeston, paying up to £40,000.
Description
- Prepare and manage financial reports, budgets and forecasts.
- Analyse financial data to provide insights and recommendations.
- Monitor and control costs to ensure financial efficiency.
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial planning.
- Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Provide financial advice and support to management as needed.

Profile
A Successful Management Accountant Should Have
- A background in accounting or finance, with relevant qualifications.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Strong skills in financial systems and tools.
- The ability to work accurately and meet deadlines under pressure.
- Good communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
Job Offer
- Salary between £35,000 and £40,000, dependent on the level of experience.
- Permanent position in Ilkeston.
- Additional benefits to be confirmed.
