Your Role
The Management Accountant will be responsible for managing the Senior Accounts Assistant and the Accounts Assistant and working to ensure reliability and integrity of the Company's financial records and accounts.
Your Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for transactional accounting including:
- Accounts payable
- Processing staff expenses and reconciliation of company credit cards.
- Accounts Receivable
- General ledger reconciliations
- Payroll review and posting
- Fixed Asset register
- Inter- company recharges
- Company banking arrangements (Day to day)
- Responsible for the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts for 2 subsidiaries and consolidation at group level in line with given deadlines.
- Stock take and valuation.
- Preparation of the quarterly VAT return for a subsidiary company.
- Monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts.
- Work closely with the operations team on commercial projects to ensure the correct accounting processes are in place.
- Produce ad-hoc reports as and required by the Business.
- Production of weekly KPI dashboards.
- Continuously improve process within the Finance department.
- Assistance in production of monthly board packs and associated KPI information.
- Development of the team's coverage of the group as group companies expand.

Skills And Knowledge
- AAT qualified or qualified by a significant level of experience.
- Advanced skills of Microsoft Excel
- Confidence in working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent knowledge of Xero

Job Type
Permanent, Full-Time
Salary
We welcome applications from both qualified and qualified by experience candidates, with salary reflective of experience and capability.
Location
Working on a hybrid-basis, hours are to be performed at our office in the centre of Stratford-upon-Avon with the option to work remotely up to two days a week following a successful probationary period.
