Management Accountant - Wimbledon

Full-Time | Permanent | Office-based

Up to £55k

Sheridan Maine is working with a growing and dynamic organisation in Wimbledon, seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance Team on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with strong month-end experience who is looking to develop within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including journal postings
  • Analysis of monthly results, including variance analysis against budget and KPIs
  • Support with internal reporting and financial analysis across the business
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations with full supporting documentation
  • Assistance with budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Contribution to statutory accounts and audit preparation
  • Involvement in finance and wider business projects, including process and system improvements
  • Supporting a collaborative team culture and strong internal communication
  • Ad hoc duties in line with business needs

The Successful Management Accountant:

  • 3–4 years’ experience in a month-end focused finance role
  • Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACCA / CIMA / ACA)
  • Strong Excel skills (e.g. pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, SUMIFS)
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Strong communicator and confident working with stakeholders at all levels
