Management Accountant
Exeter, Devon
£40,000 - £42,000 per annum
Our client, a successful and growing organisation based on the outskirts of Exeter, is seeking a commercially astute Management Accountant to join their finance team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take on a varied role, supporting the delivery of accurate financial reporting and management information. As the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and driving informed business decisions within a collaborative and supportive environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Management Accountant looking to broaden their commercial experience within a supportive and forward-thinking organisation.
The Responsibilities:
- Prepare management accounts and financial reports
- Produce financial analysis and performance commentary
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls
- Manage fixed asset reporting and intercompany transactions
- Support statutory reporting, audits, and compliance activities
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to provide financial insight
- Mentor and support junior members of the finance team

The Candidate:
- Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a management accounting role
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and Excel skills
- Excellent communication skills with a commercial approach
- Organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities
