About the Role

Meraki Accountancy & Finance is delighted to be partnering with a leading client based on the outskirts of Glasgow to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a key position within the finance team, offering the opportunity to work closely with the Finance Director and play an integral role in supporting the business's financial performance. The successful candidate will provide meaningful financial insight, support strategic decision-making, and ensure the delivery of accurate and timely financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional looking to make a real impact within a growing and dynamic organisation.

  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts, ensuring all reporting deadlines are met.
  • Partner closely with the leadership team to support the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
  • Act as a trusted business partner to non-finance stakeholders, helping them develop a clear understanding of their budgets and financial performance.
  • Produce the monthly management reporting pack, delivering insightful and meaningful financial information.
  • Analyse financial performance, investigate variances, and provide clear, concise commentary and recommendations.
  • Support cash flow reporting and monitor working capital to help optimise business performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial processes, driving efficiencies and best practice across the finance function.

Experience Required

  • ICAS, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret financial data and translate it into clear, actionable business insights.
  • Proactive, organised, and committed to continuous improvement.
