Management Accountant Role

Description
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed analysis to stakeholders.
- Monitor and evaluate financial performance, identifying trends and variances.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise cost control and operational efficiencies.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making within the retail sector.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies in all financial activities.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and initiatives as required.

Profile
A Successful Management Accountant Should Have
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in a management accountant role within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, with advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- Effective communication skills to present financial data to non-financial stakeholders.

Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from £50,000 to £55,000 per annum.
- Annual bonus up to 10%
- Hybrid working from a Lancashire office (3 days in office, 2 at home)
