Role Description
We are now looking for a driven, focussed accountant to play a key finance role at the heart of our expanding business. We're a proud, successful family-owned business and we're looking for someone special to join us as full time Management Accountant.
Representing several exciting automotive brands, our business is built on solid relationships — with our customers, our manufacturers, and especially with our people. As a family business, we do things differently. You'll be working closely with senior leadership from day one and be working in a supportive team environment. We always invest in our team and your experience, skills and efforts will be appreciated from day one.

You'll be responsible for producing timely and accurate management accounts, supporting our team leaders and helping drive performance across our dealerships.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Producing variance analysis and commentary that helps our team leaders understand what's driving performance
- Analysing operational and financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for growth
- Business partnering with department heads across sales, aftersales, and other areas of our group
- Supporting the annual budget process and quarterly VAT returns
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes, controls, and efficiency across the finance function
- Supporting financial audit and working with external auditors

Whilst qualifications and experience matter, we also want somebody who brings genuine enthusiasm to their work and who will thrive in a busy, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will :

- Are following active study route for achieving a professional qualification or are qualified by experience
- Have experience within a similar role
- Possess good Excel skills and comfortable working with financial reporting systems
- Be able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance colleagues
- Have a genuine interest in understanding our businesses
