Job Description
Role Overview
Join Teledyne Aerospace & Defence Electronics UK as a Management Accountant supporting financial and management accounting for Lincoln business units. Reporting to the TMUK Financial Controller, responsibilities of the role will include:
- Balance Sheet reconciliations, overhead analysis and variance reporting.
- Preparation of monthly management accounts in accordance with US GAAP principles.
- Creating and posting month end journals
- Stock & WIP control
- Capex
- Accounts receivable debtors review
- Recharges
- Project Costs and trading
- Accruals & Prepayments
- Valuation of inventories and work in progress in accordance with ASC606.
- Assisting shared services with credit control.
- Assisting with the preparation of the year end audit file and disclosure information.
- Assisting with the preparation of internal management reports.
- Supporting the TMUK Financial Controller.
- Assisting with general administrative duties.
- Daily / Weekly / Monthly reporting
- OneStream group reporting

The company are looking for the following skills and experience from the successful candidate:
- CIMA or ACCA fully qualified or finalist, OR a candidate who is qualified by experience.
- Excellent organisational ability including time management and prioritising tasks.
- Accurate with good attention to detail.
- Able to work autonomously.
- Have excellent IT skills, with strong Excel skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Be able to work within a fast paced, ever-changing business.
- SAP HANA experience advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience in Manufacturing would be advantageous.
