Based in London, we partner with global brands through licensing, product development, marketing, and distribution across key international markets. With a turnover of c.£70m, our portfolio includes licences for Karl Lagerfeld and G.H. Bass, alongside our own brands such as Strike and Lili Curia.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a finance team of 10, you’ll take ownership of management accounting across multiple brands — including two newly launching brands expected to scale quickly.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role with strong cross-functional exposure across Finance, Operations, Customer Service, Logistics, and Marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Management Accounting

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including posting and reviewing prepayments, fixed assets, and stock adjustments
  • Perform monthly P&L and balance sheet reviews, including variance analysis, reconciliations, and accruals
  • Review overheads against budget and investigate variances
  • Prepare, reconcile, and review sales and COGS data, ensuring integrity between Shopify and accounting systems
  • Produce monthly flash reports and management reporting packs
  • Process and review intercompany transactions and recharges
  • Deliver clear reporting including KPIs, variance analysis, and commentary to support decision-making
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Create and develop reporting and processes for new and growing brands

Financial & Statutory Reporting

  • Prepare monthly VAT returns for review
  • Support the annual audit process, including samples, analysis, and queries
  • Review and improve accounting processes to ensure efficient and compliant financial operations

What We’re Looking For

  • Newly qualified or late-stage part-qualified (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Proven experience preparing full management accounts (c.3+ years)
  • Strong Excel skills (intermediate to advanced)
  • Experience working in a growing or complex business environment (c.£20m+ turnover)
  • Comfortable working across multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Confident communicator, able to challenge and influence stakeholders
  • Hands-on, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Experience with accounting systems (Sage preferred but not essential)

  • Experience in retail, e-commerce, or stock accounting

Working Pattern

  • 3 days per week in our Camden office
  • Increased office presence expected during month-end
