Your new role About the role: The successful candidate for this newly created role will ideally be a qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA). Operating successfully in a highly competitive sector, this role has a strong commercial focus, with robust financial management and timely and accurate reporting as key requirements. The appointed individual will be motivated and well-organised, with the ability to deliver under pressure whilst supporting finance team.About you: Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA) Prior experience of working in housebuilding / construction industry role advantageous but not essential Strong technical foundation in accounting Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with business acumen, pragmatism and a good sense of diplomacy Proven ability to build relationships at all levels Sound and relevant commercial awareness Ability and aptitude to challenge work practices and to seek explanations Track record of producing timely financial MI in a fast-moving commercial environment Highly developed oral, written and presentation skills Motivated self-starter with a flexible working attitude A strong team player, with a desire to make a significant contribution to the Finance Department Excellent IT skills including MS office, experience of eVision and Sitestream helpful but not essential What's in it for me Our Principles - The Robertson Way Our principles are our roadmap to achieving positive outcomes and delivering on our purpose.
