A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Management Accountant within the Production Controlling team at the Hull Blades Factory, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial control, reporting, and forecasting for manufacturing operations. Your day will involve analyzing production and material costs, supporting month-end close activities, preparing budgets and forecasts, and partnering with operational teams to drive financial performance. You will also contribute to the digital transformation of finance processes through automation and continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support factory cost controlling activities, including material cost analysis, manufacturing variance reporting, inventory control, and product costing.
- Deliver accurate and timely month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting for the plant.
- Support cost reduction initiatives by validating financial benefits and providing actionable insights to operational teams.
- Manage cash flow and balance sheet activities while supporting financial statement analysis and commercial decision-making.
- Drive process automation and continuous improvement using tools such as Power Query, Power Automate, Alteryx, and SAP.
- Act as a trusted business partner to plant functions, providing financial guidance, cost center support, and ensuring compliance with SOX and internal control requirements.
What You Bring
- Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, AAT) or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in factory controlling, manufacturing finance, or production accounting environments.
- Strong knowledge of cost accounting, financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and IFRS.
- Experience with SAP modules (CO, FI, MM, PP) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools and process automation platforms such as Power Automate, Power Query, or Alteryx.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detail and sense of accountability.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and in multicultural environments.
- A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for leveraging digital tools to enhance financial processes and reporting.
