Management Accountant

Management Accountant 6 month contract • Up to £250/day • London/hybrid Potential transition to permanent role

About the Role

A thriving marketing company based in London is seeking a Management Accountant for a 6-month contract (with possibility for permanent transition). The role offers flexibility with hybrid working and operates in a dynamic, high-growth environment.

The ideal candidate will oversee recurring reporting and reconciliations, transform month-end financials into actionable insights, and empower the Financial Controller to focus on commercial and strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and compile management accounts and month-end reporting across all business entities.
  • Own end-to-end balance sheet reconciliations and assigned recurring reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Investigate financial variances, identify root causes, and resolve discrepancies by delivering analysis-driven recommendations that inform business decisions.
  • Build, refine, and automate reporting and control processes, reducing manual workload while enhancing financial controls and efficiency.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow planning, contributing to strategic finance activities as responsibilities grow.
  • Serve as the trusted point of contact for finance-related queries and analysis, both within finance teams and across the wider organisation.
  • Minimise key-person dependency by taking clear ownership of core responsibilities and accountability areas.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
