Management Accountant | Leeds | Up to £50,000 DOE
This is a business that's growing for the right reasons. Sales are increasing, operations are expanding, and they're looking for a Management Accountant who wants to do more than produce month-end reports and move on to the next deadline.
Reporting directly to an experienced Head of Finance, you'll join a finance team where people are encouraged to ask questions, understand the wider business, and contribute ideas. The Head of Finance is genuinely invested in developing their team, making this a strong opportunity for someone looking to progress their career over the next few years.
The culture is people-first, supportive and down-to-earth. You'll be given the space to learn, develop and take on more responsibility as the business continues to grow.
Why This Role Exists
Finance plays a key role in decision-making across the business, and they need someone who wants to be proactive rather than purely reactive.
They are looking for somebody who naturally asks "why?" - someone who enjoys understanding what's driving the numbers, spotting trends, challenging assumptions and helping operational teams make better decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
