Management Accountant
Senior Accounts Payable & Monthly Close Accountant
We are seeking a motivated part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or AAT) to join a rapidly expanding finance team within a dynamic SME. This hands-on role in a small but highly collaborative finance function offers strong exposure to international operations and full accountability for end-to-end accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Payable (AP) Ownership
- Manage the end-to-end accounts payable process via Yooz
- Serve as the primary point of contact for invoice and AP-related queries
- Ensure accurate accounting, approvals, and seamless processing of invoices
- Review payment runs with strict focus on accuracy and minimising errors
- Drive continuous process improvements in AP workflows

Month-End Close
- Take full ownership of journals, including accruals and prepayments
- Prepare and post monthly group journals
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and proactively resolve outstanding items
- Support efforts to streamline and improve month-end timelines
Reporting & Controls
- Assist with management accounts and KPI reporting
- Maintain accurate accounting records across the group
- Support documentation of finance processes and internal controls
- Assist with audit preparation and scheduling
Treasury & Banking
- Support bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking
- Assist in banking administration and payment system management

Systems & Process Improvement
- Work within SunSystems to support and enhance system functionality
- Assist with the rollout of expense (T&E) tools and new finance systems
- Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and process optimisation
