Management Accountant

This Management Accountant role offers responsibility for management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and business partnering within a leading manufacturing business. The position is ideal for a qualified accountant looking to develop their commercial exposure while supporting key financial decision-making and process improvements.

Description

  • Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts to support informed decision-making.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting and finance processes.
  • Assist in preparing year-end accounts and liaising with external auditors.
  • Support strategic planning by providing detailed financial analysis and insights.
  • Ensure timely submission of tax and VAT returns in accordance with applicable laws.

Profile

  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
  • Proven experience in management accounting within the property or related industries.
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in financial software and Excel.
  • Excellent analytical abilities and a keen eye for detail.
  • Good understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
