The Opportunity
We are hiring our first in-house Management Accountant as Centuro Global enters its next stage of growth. Following a period of rapid expansion this role has been created to enable strong and timely reporting of finance performance.
Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, you will take full ownership of the management accounting function alongside day-to-day transactional operations. You will be the person who closes the books each month, keeps the ledger clean, and works with the Senior Finance Manager to give the business the financial clarity it needs to move fast.
This is a broad, substantive role in a lean team. You will have direct access to the Senior Finance Manager and CFO, clear line of sight across the business, and the opportunity to grow with an organisation that is scaling quickly and with intention.
Role Overview
The Management Accountant is a critical hire within a small, high-performing finance team. The role carries full ownership of the management accounting function alongside the day-to-day bookkeeping and transactional operations of the business. The successful candidate will be a technically strong, self-sufficient accountant who is comfortable owning an end-to-end function and working closely with a lean team.
The finance team structure is as follows:
- Chief Financial Officer
- Senior Finance Manager
- Management Accountant (this role)
Key Responsibilities
Management Accounts and Financial Control
- Prepare monthly management accounts, delivered accurately and on time.
- Own the full month-end close process, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and revenue recognition schedules.
- Perform and maintain balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.
- Contribute underlying data and financial schedules to the monthly management information pack.

Transactional Operations and Accounts Payable
- Process supplier invoices and manage accounts payable through Moss, the company's invoice and corporate card management platform.
- Oversee and reconcile corporate card expenditure via Moss, ensuring all transactions are coded, approved, and reflected accurately in the accounts.
- Manage supplier records and respond to finance queries from suppliers in a timely and professional manner.
- Handle customer finance queries and liaise with internal stakeholders as required.
Credit Control
- Lead the credit control function, maintaining an up-to-date debtor ledger and proactively following up on outstanding balances.
- Work closely with the Senior Finance Manager on escalated or complex credit control matters.
- Maintain clear records of credit control activity and provide regular updates on debtor positions.
AI, Automation and Continuous Improvement
- Centuro Global is an AI-native business. Every department is expected to actively embed AI tools and automation into how it operates, and finance is no exception.
- Identify and implement AI-powered tools and workflow automations to streamline finance processes, reduce manual effort, and improve accuracy across month-end, AP, and credit control.
- Proactively challenge existing processes and propose smarter, more efficient ways of working.
- Participate in the company-wide quarterly AI Challenge, in which team members submit automation and workflow improvements for company-wide implementation, with a cash prize awarded to the winning submission.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement within the finance team, sharing learnings and new approaches with colleagues.

Person Specification
Essential
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified, or part-qualified with relevant experience.
- A genuine interest in AI and automation, with a willingness to experiment, learn, and apply new tools to everyday finance work.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and managing competing priorities within a lean team.
Desirable
- Demonstrable experience using AI tools or building automations in a finance context (e.g. workflow automation, AI-assisted reconciliation, reporting tools).
- Multi-entity or group accounting experience.
- Exposure to a fast-growing SaaS or technology-led business.
