Management Accountant

The Management Accountant will oversee financial reporting and analysis within the industrial/manufacturing sector. This role requires strong accounting skills to support decision-making and ensure financial compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Description

  • Prepare accurate financial reports to support business decision-making.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Identify areas for cost optimisation and process improvement.
  • Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors as required.

Profile

We're looking for someone who is either fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or in the final stages of qualification, with previous experience within a management accounting or financial accounting environment. You'll also have:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and SUMIFS.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and working to tight month-end deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving processes.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships across the business.
