Management Accountant - Bracknell | £50,000 - £63,000 + Excellent Benefits | Hybrid Working (2 Days from Home) | Finish at 1pm Every Friday
Introduction
RD Financial Recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a highly respected international organisation based in Bracknell.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys producing meaningful management information, delivering insightful financial analysis and working closely with senior stakeholders across the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality reporting, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities and helping senior leadership understand financial performance across the business.

The Role
Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will take ownership of delivering accurate, timely and insightful management reporting that supports operational performance and strategic decision-making.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs to agreed deadlines.
- Producing financial analysis, commentary and KPI reporting for senior stakeholders.
- Supporting the budgeting, forecasting and planning processes.
- Preparing reports for senior management, executive committees and board meetings.
- Producing management and regulatory reports in line with internal and external requirements.
- Monitoring financial performance and investigating variances against budget and forecast.
- Identifying trends, risks and opportunities through detailed financial analysis.
- Developing and maintaining reporting dashboards and recurring management information.
- Reconciling financial information from multiple data sources to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Working closely with colleagues across Finance and other business functions to gather, validate and interpret financial data.
- Supporting improvements to reporting processes, controls and governance.
- Identifying opportunities to streamline and automate reporting activities.
- Contributing to wider finance projects and business initiatives as reporting requirements evolve.

This is a highly visible role where your analysis and reporting will be used by senior decision-makers across the organisation. You will have the opportunity to influence business performance by providing clear, accurate and commercially focused financial insight.
About You
We are looking for an experienced finance professional with a strong background in management accounting, financial reporting and commercial analysis.
You will already be comfortable working with large volumes of financial data and producing high-quality reporting for a range of stakeholders. Just as importantly, you will be able to explain financial performance clearly and confidently to both finance and non-finance colleagues.
We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience in a Management Accountant, Financial Accountant, Reporting Accountant, Commercial Accountant or similar role.
- Strong management reporting and financial analysis experience.
- A solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Lookups and complex spreadsheet analysis.
- Experience producing management information for senior stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- The ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing priorities.
- A proactive approach and a genuine interest in improving processes and controls.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau or other business intelligence tools would be advantageous, although it is not essential. Similarly, experience within a regulated environment, financial services, automotive, manufacturing or another complex commercial organisation would be beneficial, but we are open to candidates from a broad range of sectors.
