Management Accountant

Management Accountant – West London

An expanding organisation seeks a Management Accountant to join their team based in West London. This is a hands-on role requiring close collaboration with both the finance and leadership teams. The Management Accountant will report to the Finance Manager and take responsibility for producing management accounts, month-end processes, and reconciliations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts
  • Manage month-end reporting, cash flow and P&L preparedness
  • Maintain and post monthly accruals and prepayments
  • Oversee fixed asset management and reconciliation processes
  • Prepare general ledger journals
  • Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations while supporting year-end statutory audits and associated returns
  • Identify opportunities to improve end-to-end financial processes
  • Assist with budgets and cash flow forecasting
  • Contribute to working capital management
  • Act as a business partner to internal stakeholders

Essential Requirements

  • Proficient Excel skills (advanced formula, pivot tables, data analysis)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly
  • Hands-on, higher multitasking to manage competing deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
  • Preferably Part-Qualified (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CIMA) or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
  • Demonstrated ability to follow and implement accounting policies and processes
