Management Accountant
The Management Accountant will play a key role in overseeing financial operations, providing accurate reporting, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This is an exciting opportunity to join the retail sector in a permanent role based in Slough.

Description
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports.
- Monitor budgets and forecasts to ensure financial targets are met.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Provide financial insights to assist in decision-making and strategic planning.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve financial processes and controls.
- Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors when required.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

Profile
A Successful Management Accountant Should Have
- A strong background in accounting and finance within the retail industry.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA (or equivalent).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate work.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
