Your new company

A well-established and growing professional services firm is looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join its expanding outsourcing team. Working with a varied portfolio of UK and international clients, you'll become part of a collaborative business that combines technical expertise with a genuinely supportive and down-to-earth culture.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys management accounting, cloud-based software, and building strong client relationships, whilst developing their career within a successful and growing practice.

Your new role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Managing a portfolio of UK and international clients
  • Preparing and reviewing VAT returns
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting clients with accounting software queries
  • Working with a variety of accounting systems, including Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, and SAP
  • Liaising directly with clients and building long-term relationships
  • Supporting process improvements and efficiencies within client finance functions

What you'll need to succeed

  • Strong double-entry bookkeeping knowledge
  • Previous experience preparing management accounts
  • Experience completing VAT returns
  • Confident undertaking balance sheet reconciliations
  • Experience using cloud accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar
  • Strong communication and client-facing skills
  • Experience gained within an accountancy practice or outsourcing environment would be advantageous.
