Role of Management Accountant
The role of Management Accountant involves overseeing financial reporting and analysis to support strategic decision-making in the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry. Description
- Prepare and present monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring accurate financial planning.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators to aid strategic decision-making.
- Assist in year-end financial processes, including liaising with external auditors.
- Analyse financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
- Contribute to process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy.

Profile
A Successful Management Accountant Should Have
- A recognised qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- Proven experience in preparing and analysing management accounts.
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance requirements.
- The ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
