About the Role

Alexander Daniels are partnering with an innovative and fast-growing technology business to recruit an experienced Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong finance professional to join a highly collaborative team and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, month-end processes, and business-critical financial insights.

The successful candidate will be either ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, or a highly experienced Qualified by Experience (QBE) accountant, with a proven background in managing complex accounting processes, particularly around revenue recognition and intangible assets.

This role offers significant ownership and visibility across the finance function and would suit someone who enjoys operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. We are seeking an ambitious and technically capable finance professional who can bring both strong accounting knowledge and a proactive approach to problem solving.

  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
  • Maintain ownership of month-end balances, including journal approval and submission of management accounts
  • Manage and support the Accounts Payable Finance Assistant
  • Review and approve bank payments prepared by the AP function
  • Produce, analyse and distribute key sales and performance reporting KPIs
  • Conduct timesheet reviews and ensure accurate financial allocation
  • Manage the accounting treatment of tangible and intangible assets, including depreciation and amortisation calculations
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition in line with relevant accounting standards
  • Prepare and maintain IFRS adjustments and divisional consolidation journals
  • Calculate and manage royalty submissions to external stakeholders
  • Support statutory reporting and audit requirements where required
  • Contribute to process improvements and the ongoing development of financial controls

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
