Management Accountant
Part Time Management Accountant
Central Employment is delighted to be supporting a Cramlington-based Group with the recruitment of a Part Time Management Accountant.
Reporting into the Finance Director, the primary responsibility of the role is to own the production of monthly management accounts for two subsidiaries within the Group.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reporting
- Deliver timely monthly management accounts
- Analyze budgets vs actual costs and provide full explanations for financial figures
- Ensure accurate month-end and end-of-year reporting, including Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Provide financial analysis, including sales & margin analysis and working capital insights
- Demonstrate an attention to detail while proactively identifying process gaps, cost savings, and improving efficiencies—proposing and implementing solutions where needed
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Asset Management system
- Prepare manual journal entries
- Handle Balance Sheets preparation
- Ensure coordination with other departments such as sales, HR, and production
- Share joint responsibility for budget preparation

Qualifications & Experience

- QBE, Part Qualified, or Fully Qualified in ACCA, CIMA, or ACA
- 5+ years of finance experience in a relevant role
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
