Management Accountant – Insurance / MGA

Management Accountant / Senior Accountant (Insurance / MGA)

London (Hybrid)

£55,000–£80,000 + study support

We’re supporting a fast-growing, US-backed specialty insurance business operating within the MGA market, currently investing heavily in strengthening and scaling its finance function.

This is a broad, hands-on opportunity working as the number two to a newly appointed Head of Finance, offering significant exposure across insurance accounting, reporting, controls, systems improvement and finance transformation initiatives within a growing and evolving business.

The Role

This position goes beyond traditional management accounting responsibilities, combining core accounting ownership with involvement in systems, processes and business growth projects. The successful individual will play a key role in helping shape and develop a scalable finance function as the business continues to expand.

The role would suit someone from an MGA, insurance broker or wider insurance finance background who is comfortable operating within a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving processes, supporting change and working closely with senior stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
