Management Accountant

Derby | Up to £55,000 + Bonus + Benefits | Hybrid Working (4 days office / 1 day home)

We're working with a successful and growing business operating within the luxury goods sector to recruit an ambitious Management Accountant.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a qualified accountant with around two years' post-qualified experience who is looking to accelerate their career. Working closely with an experienced Finance Director, you'll gain exposure well beyond the traditional responsibilities of a Management Accountant, playing a key role in commercial decision-making while developing the skills and experience needed to progress into a Finance Manager role and, ultimately, Finance Director.

This isn't an organisation where you'll spend years waiting for the next opportunity. You'll be trusted from day one, given real responsibility and encouraged to develop as the business continues to grow. If you're ambitious, motivated and keen to make your mark, you'll find plenty of scope to do so here.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll become an integral part of the finance team, supporting both the day-to-day operation of the function and the wider commercial performance of the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
