Management Accountant

Join a Leading Live Music Company

Are you a Management Accountant looking for a role where you can make a genuine impact within one of the world's most exciting industries?

We're partnering with a leading live music company to recruit a talented Management Accountant to join its growing finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, creative environment, supporting the financial performance of a dynamic business.

Working closely with the Reporting Manager, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting, supporting commercial decision-making, and helping to drive continuous improvements across the finance function.

The Role

As Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing accurate monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow reporting.
  • Delivering insightful variance analysis and commentary for senior management.
  • Developing and enhancing management reporting packs and financial reporting templates.
  • Supporting the annual budget and regular forecasting processes, working closely with budget holders across the business.
  • Building financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis and strategic decision-making.
  • Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger.
  • Supporting month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments, journals and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Assisting with statutory accounts preparation and the external audit process.
  • Building strong relationships across the business, providing commercial insight and financial support to key stakeholders.
  • Assistance with system implementation

About You

We're looking for an enthusiastic, commercially minded accountant who enjoys working collaboratively and thrives in a fast-moving environment.

You'll ideally have:

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or be actively studying towards qualification).
  • Previous experience producing monthly management accounts.
  • Strong understanding of month-end reporting, balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
  • Experience supporting budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent Excel skills with strong analytical capability.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders across the business.
  • Live Music experience
  • A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach.
