Interim Management Accountant London | 3-Month Contract (Potential Extension)
Are you a technically strong Management Accountant looking for your next interim challenge? We're partnering with a globally recognised organisation operating in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to recruit an Interim Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant with a strong financial accounting background to join a collaborative finance team during a critical period of audit activity and month-end reporting.
The Opportunity You'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of the General Ledger across multiple entities while supporting statutory audits, month-end close and financial reporting. This position offers exposure to a complex international business, SAP S/4HANA, and a variety of finance transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Own General Ledger integrity across multiple entities.
- Support month-end close, journals, and financial reporting.
- Perform balance sheet and intercompany reconciliations.
- Partner with the audit team, coordinating requests and supporting audit deliverables.
- Review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Support Group reporting and HFM submissions.
- Assist with CAPEX accounting and ad hoc finance projects.
- Work extensively within SAP S/4HANA and support ongoing ERP process improvements.
About You
- ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
- Big 4 or Top 10 audit background highly desirable.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and month-end experience.
- Experience with General Ledger, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Confident working with auditors and interpreting complex accounting queries.
- Strong SAP experience is advantageous (SAP S/4HANA ideal).
- Analytical, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Manufacturing or engineering sector experience is beneficial but not essential.
