About the Role

Reporting directly into the qualified Finance Manager, this Management Accountant opportunity sits within a structured and developing finance team, where you will play a critical role in leading management reporting across an important entity. The business benefits from a secure operating model, underpinned by long-term contractual agreements that provide consistent revenue streams and financial stability. Alongside this, the organisation actively invests in improving its systems, processes and ways of working, creating an environment where new ideas and continuous improvement are encouraged.

You will be tasked with partnering with a site-based team to provide commentary on your full profit and loss, budget and forecasts. This opportunity suits a candidate looking for commercial and operational exposure, that will enjoy conversation with a variety of stakeholders.

Skills Needed

  • Newly qualified or finalist ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Previous experience preparing management accounts, including month-end and year-end reporting, reconciliations and financial analysis.
  • Good understanding of statutory reporting requirements, VAT and financial compliance.
  • A confident communicator, able to work with non-financial stakeholders easily.
