Our client is a scaling hospitality / consumer business in Central London. They are a lively and dynamic team with a great office culture. Due to the organic growth, revenue has increased, the central finance function has grown in headcount and they continue to do so. We are currently recruiting for a part qualified management accountant who will assist in the preparation of the management accounts, supporting the Senior Finance Manager, performing management accounting duties and providing ad-hoc analysis. This is a great role in a forward thinking and successful business.

Duties include;

  • Produce timely and reliable management reporting, assisting in the preparation of monthly management accounts preparation.
  • Preparation of allocations to business units inclusive of variance analysis and commentary of actual performance against budgets/forecasts.
  • Month end journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Review of balance sheets.
  • Maintaining and improving the cost allocation models.
  • Explain variances, setting budgets and forecasts.
