Kinmel, North Wales | 11-month Fixed Term Contract | Hybrid (3 days onsite)
We’re excited to be recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our Finance team on a 14-month fixed term contract, supporting the business through a key period of project and operational activity. This is a great opportunity for a technically strong accountant who enjoys working in a fast-paced, manufacturing-led environment and partnering closely with stakeholders.
You’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of accurate, timely management accounts for INSPIRED Pet Nutrition, with a strong focus on performance insight, stakeholder delivery, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Be part of the management accounts team responsible for the accurate and timely delivery of month-end reporting for INSPIRED Pet Nutrition.
- Liaise with site business partners to ensure reported results align with operational performance and site understanding.
- Maintain balance sheet control, reconciliations, and integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the production of primary financial statements using agreed templates and submit to Group within agreed timelines.
- Support delivery to the external audit team, including year-end disclosure packs and management accounts analysis for tax purposes.
- Help drive automation and technological improvements within the general ledger and management accounts function, identifying and delivering continuous improvement opportunities.
- Deliver monthly capital accounting, reporting, and tracking against business case, budget, and forecast.
- Support the wider finance team by providing management accounts information required for them to deliver their roles effectively.
- Take responsibility for management accounts-related deliverables such as National Statistics returns.
- Support ad hoc tasks and finance projects as required.

About you
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
- Able to demonstrate strong technical accounting proficiency.
- Experience within a manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Highly organised with strong planning and prioritisation skills.
- Customer-focused approach with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Able to work flexibly and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail while retaining the ability to see the bigger picture.
- Very strong Excel skills.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model, with the judgement to recognise when face-to-face collaboration is essential for workload management and development.
- Self-motivated and keen to develop and succeed within an agile, private equity-backed business.
