Management Accountant
The Noble Restaurant Group
Up to £55,000 per annum depending on experience
Job Location
Full time onsite - Central London Head Office

About the Role
Noble Restaurant Group are seeking a highly motivated and detail orientated Management Accountant to join our team. The role will be responsible for financial reporting, cash management, balance sheet reconciliations and supporting the financial controllers and wider finance team.

Noble Restaurant Group operates a portfolio of iconic brands across UK, US, Canada and the Middle East. These brands include Chotto Matte, Angus Steakhouse, Alley Cats Pizza, Steak and Co and Muriel’s Kitchen.
General Responsibilities
Month end:
- Posting monthly journals such as accruals, prepayments, wages and revaluations.
- Posting daily and weekly journals such as revenue, COGS and stock movements.
- Prepare monthly management accounts for assigned business units.
- Analyse variances and highlight any areas of concern.
- Ensuring intercompany recharges are done monthly.
- Supporting the wider finance function as required.

Spend Analysis:
- Prepare summary report for management on spend in key categories.
- Track spending on projects and sites, providing breakdown for decision making.
- Provide estimation of spend to assist budget and forecast preparation.
Cash and Liquidity:
- Compile daily cash movement.
- Prepare and analyse spend to feed into liquidity forecast model.
Banking & Payments:
- Daily bank reconciliations.
- Investigate suspicious transactions and raise potential issues.
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Take ownership for a range of balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare schedules for review and adjustments to strict deadlines.
Supporting the business:
- Collaborate with non-finance staff to ensure they are following processes for the procure to pay workstream.
- Assist other departments in solving payment and financial reporting issues.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.

Internal Controls:
- Ensure financial controls are being followed and raise any instances of doubt.
- Assist in testing controls and suggest improvement where gaps are found.
- Assist with year end and provide evidence to external auditors.
Finance Change
- Participate in finance change program by ensuring processes are up to date and communicated.
- Suggest improvements to current ways of working.
Qualifications:
- Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- 3+ years of experience in management accounting, financial analysis and similar roles.
- Ability to solve problems and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with ERP, banking and office software.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
