Management Accountant - (UK Subsidiary)
Location: Dublin - Hybrid working model - 3 days on-site per week. Salary: £60,000 + Benefits
This is a remote role, with occasional travel to Dublin site.
You will be responsible for the timely and accurate financial reporting, control, compliance, and performance analysis for a UK subsidiary within the Group.
In addition to core accounting responsibilities, the role will support Board reporting, SaaS KPI reporting, debt covenant compliance, and acquisition / migration integration activities, providing significant exposure to senior management and strategic business initiatives within a private equity-backed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Month-End
- Prepare monthly management accounts for the UK subsidiary, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting.
- Perform month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Analyse financial performance against budget, forecast, and prior periods, providing clear commentary on variances.
- Support Group reporting requirements in accordance with established reporting timetables.

- Assist with the annual budgeting process and periodic reforecasts.
- Work with relevant budget holders to understand performance drivers and expenditure trends.
- Develop financial models and scenario analyses to support planning and decision-making.
Revenue & SaaS Metrics
- Support revenue recognition processes in accordance with applicable accounting standards.
- Monitor and analyse key SaaS metrics including ARR, MRR, churn, retention, customer acquisition / migration costs, and gross margin performance.
- Assist in the reconciliation of billing, subscription, and revenue data between operational and finance systems.
Statutory & Tax Compliance
- Manage VAT returns and related compliance obligations.
- Support preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit requirements.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisers, and regulatory bodies as required.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant UK regulations.
Balance Sheet & Cash Management
- Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
- Monitor intercompany transactions and reconciliations within the Group structure.

Business Partnering & Process Improvement
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and challenge where appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, automation, and financial controls.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and integration activities resulting from acquisitions / migrations or organisational growth.
Skills & Experience
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or finalist with relevant experience, ideally within a PE environment.
- Experience preparing management accounts within a commercial organisation.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, accruals, reconciliations, and month-end processes.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability.
- Experience working with ERP and financial reporting systems (Xero desirable).
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles under IFRS or UK GAAP.
