Management Accountant Opportunity in Manufacturing
Lusona Consultancy are delighted to be partnering with our client in the Manufacturing sector as they recruit for a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and growing business, playing a key role within the finance function and supporting the wider operations team.
Our client are a growing and successful business with multiple acquisitions in the past year. Our client are an ambitious and commercially focused organisation looking for someone to grow their career over the longer term.
The role is fully office-based in Glasgow and ideal for a hands-on accountant who enjoys variety, responsibility, and working as part of a collaborative team. This role would suit a Part qualified accountant looking for their next move in a varied commercial environment.

Role Details
This role offers a competitive salary of £42,000 - £45,000 per annum plus 34 days annual leave, free parking, and early finish every Friday.
Key Duties
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including accruals, prepayments, and journals.
- Assisting with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to support business performance.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and reconciliations.
- Supporting with year-end statutory accounts and audit preparation.
- Providing financial insight to operational management to drive efficiency and cost control.
- Continuous review of processes and systems to enhance accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Strong management accounting experience, ideally with a background in manufacturing, FMCG or sale of goods.
- Excellent Excel skills with strong attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Hands-on, proactive, and confident in communicating with non-finance stakeholders.
- A team player who thrives in a busy, fast-paced setting.
