Management Accountant – Standardsopilier (Leadership Position) – G’s Fresh
Are you a commercially minded accountant who enjoys turning data into insight and making a real impact in a fast-paced environment? At G’s Fresh, we’re looking for a proactive and analytical Management Accountant to join our finance team, supporting the largest pillar of the business.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the heart of a dynamic organisation, partnering closely with finance and operational teams to deliver meaningful reporting, drive continuous improvement, and support strategic decision-making across multiple sites.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a key member of the finance team, you’ll play an integral role in delivering accurate financial reporting and valuable business insight. Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing monthly management accounts, including analysis and commentary in line with month-end and year-end deadlines
- Supporting KPI reporting and helping drive improvements alongside commercial teams
- Analysing complex datasets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities
- Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and overhead reporting for budget holders
- Maintaining accurate system data to support reliable financial reporting
- Assisting with budgets, pricing models, audits, and stakeholder queries
- Collaborating across finance and operational teams to improve processes and share best practice
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members to build confidence and capability
- Providing cross-departmental support and contributing to ad-hoc projects as required

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a qualified or qualified-by-experience accountant who thrives in a busy, commercially focused environment and enjoys collaborative teamwork.
Required:
- Strong core accounting knowledge and analytical capability
- Excellent organisational skills with a proactive, self-starting approach
- Confidence to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Ideally:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Experience with or a keen interest in Power BI
- Previous experience in a fast-paced commercial, manufacturing, or production environment would be advantageous
