Company Overview
You will be joining a leading Software business as their Management Accountant on a 9 month fixed term contract. This role will be part of a close-knit and high-performing finance team, you will report into the Finance Director. Based in their modern City of London office 3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining 2 days.
Role Responsibilities
In your new role, you will be responsible for:
- Monthly cost reporting
- Owning balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting with year-end Audit
- Driving improvement of month-end processes
- Preparing and posting payroll journals
- Performing variance analysis against budget/forecast
- Presenting findings clearly to stakeholders
- Supporting non-finance stakeholders with analysis

You will build a strong relationship with the FP&A team and work collaboratively with the wider Management Accounts team.
Role Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to be part-qualified/finalist ACCA/ACA/CIMA and have experience in a Management Accounting role. You will have a solid understanding of month-end processes including reconciliations, variance analysis and journals, be a confident communicator and have an enthusiastic, proactive approach to all tasks. You will have a genuine passion for continuous process improvement and technology, with a willingness to learn and adapt well in fast-moving environments. You will ideally have some exposure to NetSuite and have previously been involved in business partnering or FP&A activities.

In Return
You will receive an annual salary of up to £45,000 + Benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate. You will be joining the business on an initial 9 month FTC but due to their impressive growth plans, there could be an opportunity for the role to be extended or made permanent (but there is no guarantee of this). You will be part of a close-knit and high-performing team who will be there to support you from day one. When you are based in the office (3 days a week), you will be located in a great area of the City, close to multiple transport links and top attractions.
