About the Role
As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, insightful analysis and commercial support to help drive business performance. Working closely with operational teams and budget holders, you'll provide trusted financial guidance, support planning and forecasting activities and help maintain robust financial controls while continuously improving processes and reporting.
This role is ideally based out of our Llangefni Head Office with 2/3 days spent in the office. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, 40 hours per week.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Produce monthly management accounts in line with reporting deadlines.
- Review operating costs and partner with budget holders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Deliver clear variance analysis against budgets, forecasts and prior year performance.
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain compliance with accounting standards and group policies.
- Prepare monthly journals, including accruals, prepayments, cost allocations and adjustments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and audit activities.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to provide reliable and meaningful financial information.
- Coach and support the development of colleagues across the team.
- Drive continuous improvements to reporting, processes and data quality.
- Undertake additional responsibilities to support business objectives as required.

What You’ll Bring
We're looking for a detail-oriented finance professional with an AAT Level 4 qualification (preferred), strong analytical capabilities and advanced Excel skills. You'll be a confident communicator who can build effective relationships across the business, demonstrate a strong control and accuracy mindset, and be comfortable working with ERP systems. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Location - Remote/hybrid working available
Will require occasional travel to regional hubs in either Oxford, Milton Keynes, Cambridge, or Anglesey
