Management Accountant
Location: Durham
Contract: Full time Permanent.
Hours: Full Time 37 per week.
Salary: Up to £47,621 per annum (dependent on experience)
Closing Date: 8th July 2026

About The Role
Joining our Regional and National award-winning finance team, the Management Accountant will support the Strategic Finance Team. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Timely and quality preparation of management information for the Group. This includes monthly management accounts, budget variance analysis, budget profiling and reforecasting, treasury management, business planning and financial regulatory returns.
- Effective and efficient management of all of the Groups accounting records in line with statutory obligations and current accounting requirements.
- Provision of effective and efficient management information to the Group.
- Ensuring excellent support services are delivered across all Group departments and external customers, including companies under the Groups management.

About You
You'll need:
- A recognised professional accounting qualification or equivalent substantial experience.
- To be self-driven and motivated to succeed.
- Excellent skills relating to written and verbal communication, report writing, time management and problem solving.
- To be able to act as a key member of the Strategic Team, demonstrating leadership, ownership, responsibility, accountability, influence and commitment.
- A customer focused and objective orientated approach.
