Management Accountant

£50,000 + Benefits

Worcester | Hybrid (2 days per week)

Not every finance role needs to be about M&A, investor presentations or becoming CFO. Sometimes the best accountants simply love producing great management accounts.

If you enjoy month-end, take pride in accurate reporting and like being the person the business relies on every month, we'd love to hear from you.

We're partnering with a rapidly growing, PE-backed software business looking for a capable and personable Management Accountant to join its finance team.

You'll become a key part of the engine room of the business, working alongside a genuinely supportive team where quality, collaboration and continuous improvement are valued just as highly as technical ability.

The Role

  • Own the end-to-end production of monthly management accounts.
  • Prepare consolidated management accounts across the Group.
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and ensure reporting accuracy.
  • Produce Board and Executive reporting packs.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.
  • Develop insightful reporting across revenue, costs and business performance.
  • Drive improvements to reporting processes, controls and automation.
  • Support and develop a junior member of the finance team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
