Company Description
Mutu Accountancy is an accounting and advisory firm serving clients in the technology, creative, non-profit, and consultancy sectors. The firm focuses on helping clients understand and achieve their financial objectives, providing support throughout their business journey. Up-to-date accounts and management reports are central to the service, offering real-time insight and guidance. Mutu Accountancy views accounting as the starting point for wider strategic advice, not simply an end result, and emphasizes a proactive, client-centered approach.
The Role
Are you an experienced bookkeeper or Finance Manager who enjoys building relationships with clients, understanding how businesses work and helping business owners?
We're looking for someone who wants more than simply processing numbers. This is an opportunity to become a trusted part of our clients' businesses, taking ownership of a varied portfolio and helping ambitious business owners stay on top of their finances.
At Mutu Accountancy, we work with a fantastic range of clients primarily across the tech, creative and not-for-profit sectors. We believe accountancy should be proactive, personal and genuinely helpful, and we're looking for someone who shares that approach.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
